CRPS recovery, My Descent Into Pain and the Long Climb Back

A 34-year-old man developed chronic pain after a shoulder injury and was eventually diagnosed with CRPS, a condition often referred to as the "suicide disease." Despite trying various treatments, including stem cell injections and multiple therapies, his pain persisted and led to suicidal thoughts. He found inspiration in a book about someone else's recovery from CRPS and began working with a mind-body specialist, Dr. Stracks, who helped him develop a daily support program. With Dr. Stracks' guidance, the man gradually increased his physical activity, including push-ups and handstands, despite initial fears of exacerbating his condition, and eventually began to see improvement in his symptoms.
