The Science Behind My Long Covid Recovery | Rachel Whitfield
Rachel Whitfield developed long COVID after a COVID infection in December 2020, experiencing crashes, insomnia, pins and needles, and brain fog that left her largely housebound. Through a combination of insights about the mind-body connection, nervous-system work, and gradually challenging her fear of symptoms, she recovered and now runs ultramarathons and scuba dives again. She notes she still occasionally gets headaches and tiredness but knows how to respond to them, and remained well through subsequent COVID infections.
