The Therapy He Quit at First, Got Him Fully Past ME/CFS
At age 13, after an ordinary virus, Peter didn't bounce back and was later diagnosed with chronic fatigue, missing years of school and cycling through several approaches that didn't fully work. Revisiting mind-body therapy as a young adult, learning not to fear activity, and listening to his body were the pieces that finally moved him forward. He describes himself today as mostly better — he has occasional bad days and tired hours, but works full-time and climbs for hours on weekends.
