Treva's TMS / PDP Success Story - Type 1 & 2 Trigeminal Neuralgia, Spinal Fluid Leak & Surgeries

Treva developed facial pain (trigeminal neuralgia) after a nerve was stretched during spinal-fluid-leak surgery and spent seven and a half years largely bedridden on medications. Through Sarno-based education and journaling, her pain gradually resolved over roughly six months to a year, and she can now drive at night, chew, talk, and garden again, with only painless numbness remaining. She also reports that earlier back pain and later foot and shoulder pain resolved once she recognized them as fear-driven symptoms. Her story suggests that even severe, long-standing pain can improve when the brain's danger signals quiet down.
